Rewi Hamid Bugo is the Group’s Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 20 June 2025. He is a member of Audit Committee and Remuneration and Nomination Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Operations Research, a Master of Commerce (First-Class Honours), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

He brings with him over 20 years of extensive leadership and governance experience, having served on the boards of both private and public-listed companies in Malaysia and New Zealand. Mr. Rewi is the Chairman of General Capital Ltd, a company listed on the New Zealand Exchange (NZX). He was formerly an Independent Non-Executive Director of Thriven Global Berhad from 2015 to 2024 and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad between 2015 and 2019. He is also currently a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Propel Global Berhad appointed in December 2024.

Mr. Rewi has served on various board committees, including Audit, Risk, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees, demonstrating strong governance and regulatory compliance expertise. He also contributes to environmental and social causes through his role as a Trustee of WWF-Malaysia. His experience spans multiple sectors, including property development, automotive importing and distribution, engineering and insurance broking.
