WELL CONSTRUCTION


Anwarudin Bin Saidu Mohamed, aged 39, is our Chief Technology Officer and the Executive Director and substantial shareholder of RL Solutions. In 2004, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Petronas University of Technology in Perak Darul Ridzuan and subsequently in 2009, he obtained his Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, United Kingdom.
After his graduation in May 2004, he commenced his career in Petronas till November 2004 as the Cost and Contract Engineer. Thereafter, in December 2004 till 2008, he joined Baker Hughes Inc., having both technical and management roles in relation to fluids engineering with his last position as a Fluids Coordinator. He left Baker Hughes Inc. in 2008 for his full time post graduate studies to obtain his Masters. Upon completing his Masters in November 2009, Anwarudin joined Deleum Berhad in January 2010 its Technical Manager responsible for developing and expanding the portfolio in production enhancement and flow assurance. From January 2012 till 2018, he was a General Manager.
In 2018, he joined us as our Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the head of business unit offering solutions to flow assurance, IOR, enhanced oil recovery, well stimulations and sand management.
He is currently the vice chair of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Kuala Lumpur and sits in the Executive Committee of the Malaysia Oil and Gas Service Council.
He has published various Society of Petroleum Engineers papers covering mainly oilfield chemistry and its applications in respect of chemically enhanced production and best practices in remediation of formation damage and flow assurance.
He obtained Professional Diploma in Industrial Engineering from University Technology Malaysia (UTM). He started his career in Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd, and begin hisjourney to oilfield related sector with Wamo Sdn Bhd.
He then join Maces Sdn Bhd, an oilfield chemical service company, as operation supervisor. After that, he joined Cetco Energy Services 2007, and actively involve in their downholesealant service division on 2010. With the rapid growth of the division, he successfully built his service profile to PETRONAS, Talisman, Carigali Hess, Exxonmobil, Sarawak Shell and Shell Brunei. He was also responsible for the development of the company’s service capability and the team of field personnel had grown from 100% reliance on expatriates to one which has 80% local Malaysian skilled manpower in this service within 4 years.
He joined Reservoir Link in March 2017 as Technical Advisor, mainly in charge in guiding well leak repair services team and consult on clients’ well integrity issues.

He obtained Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the MARA University of Technology, Malaysia in 2006.
He started his career with Schlumberger WTA, where he worked from 2006 to 2011 as Wireline Cased Specialist. He was primarily involved in services such as perforation, cased hole logging and pipe recovery. He then joined Dimension Bid Sdn Bhd as Senior Electric Wireline Case Hole Field Engineer from 2011 to 2012. He was responsible for the quality of services such as perforation, cased hole logging, plug setting and pipe recovery.
He joined Reservoir Link in 2012, currently as Service Manager. He is responsible for leading resource planning for all jobs, including materials, personnel and equipment movement.
He obtained Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Mechanical (Petroleum Engineering Specialisation) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (PETRONAS University of Technology) in 2009.
He began his career with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd as Well Services Trainee Engineer from 2008 to 2009. He then joined Halliburton Energy Services (M) Sdn Bhd, where he was an Associate Technical Professional, TCP (Engineer) from 2009 to 2011. He was responsible for leading TCP, wireline and horizontal perforation services, as well as workover and Drill Stem Testing services.
He joined Reservoir Link in 2011 as Senior Manager, and was promoted to Service Manager in 2015. He is currently responsible for all stages of service delivery. He leads resource planning for all jobs, including material, personnel and equipment movement.
He obtained Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Petroleum Engineering from the University Technology of Malaysia in 2005.
He began his career with Dimension Bid (M) Sdn Bhd as Field Engineer from 2005 to 2008. He was responsible for data acquisition and interpretation projects. He then joined Geowell Sdn Bhd as Senior Field Service Engineer from 2008 to 2011. He worked as a Memory Production Logging Tool (MPLT) engineer conducting production logging jobs.
He joined Reservoir Link in 2011 as a Cased Hole Logger, and was promoted to Service Manager in 2014. He is currently responsible for supporting our Operations Director. He is responsible for all stages of service delivery.
He obtained high education from ITM Sabah in 1975 up to Diploma, (Mechanical Engineering). He has 37 years of experience in oil & gas industry.
He began his career at Halliburton as Cementer in 1980, and progressed to the position of Service Leader in Wire Line & Perforating Services, responsible for Perforating Shop in Labuan. He is also a qualified explosives responsible person trainer.
He joined Reservoir Link in 2015 as Base Manager, he is responsible for Labuan Base operation. He is also the training instructor for Reservoir Link Explosive Safety Course. Quality management system and HSE focal person in Labuan Base.
She obtained Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering from UPM in 2003, and MSc of Geotechnical & Geological Engineering from UPM in 2009. She has 11 years of experience in oil & gas industry.
She began her career at Geowell Sdn. Bhd. as Field Engineer, and progressed her career path to Sales Technical Engineer and later to Senior Executive Customer Account, in charge of maintaining customer relationship. In 2011, she joined Delcom Oilfield Services Sdn. Bhd. as Senior Oilfield Engineer.
She joined Reservoir Link in 2012 as Senior Account Representative, and was promoted to Contract Manager on January 2017. She is currently responsible for all stages of contracts coordination in all business segmentation.
She obtained ACCA qualification in 2002 from Sunway College, Malaysia. She also obtained the Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants and Malaysia Institute of Accountants Member in 2006.
She began her career as Senior Audit Office at Khoo Teng Keat & Co from 2003 to 2005. Next, she joined Tai Chong Mfg Sdn Bhd from 2005 to 2006 as Account Executive. Then, she joined Southern Steel Mesh Sdn Bhd from 2006 to 2014 as Finance Manager.
She joined Reservoir Link in 2015 as Senior Accountant, responsible for all matters in finance department.
Alphonsus Chiu Ching Chuen, aged 43, is our Senior Manager, Business Development. In 1999, he obtained his Diploma in Technology, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman College. In 2000, he began his career in the oil and gas industry as a Service Supervisor specialising in cementing and downhole cementing remedial tool for Dowell Schlumberger (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Subsequently, in 2002, he joined Halliburton Energy Services Sdn Bhd as its Assistant Service Operator for drill stem test tools and tubing conveyed perforating. During his thirteen (13) years of employment with Halliburton, he was involved in a number of pioneering jobs for the company and amongst them was the deployment of new ultra high pressure high temperature surface well test equipment, downhole tools, cementing remedial tools, completion equipment and the well bore clean well services division. He was the Senior Account Representative before he left Halliburton in 2015.
In 2015, he joined Titus Technologies Sdn Bhd as its Business Development Manager for well testing until 2017.
In 2017, he joined RLSB as our Senior Technical Advisor for well testing and tubing conveyed perforation and was promoted to his current position as the Senior Manager, Business Development the same year in 2017.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She started as Management Trainee with Maxis in 2008. She was attached to the broadband operations department and was primarily handling logistic functions.
She began her career in oil and gas sector in 2009 when she joined Transwater API Sdn Bhd as Sales Engineer. In 2010, she moved to Cetco Energy Services and was tasked to start up their downhole sealant service division. The division grew under her leadership and had successfully secured contracts from PETRONAS, Talisman, Carigali Hess, Exxonmobil, Sarawak Shell and Shell Brunei. She was also responsible for the development of the company’s service capability and the team of field personnel had grown from 100% reliance on expatriates to one which has 80% local Malaysian skilled manpower in this service within 4 years.
She joined Reservoir Link in December 2016 as Business Development Manager and has successfully secured 4 additional downhole sealant service contracts. She is currently the Acting General Manager (Operations) and is tasked to develop the company’s market reach in addition to expanding our local presence.
He obtained Bachelor’s SC (Honours) in Chemistry from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
He is an experienced HSE, Leadership & Management professional in the Oil & Gas industry. He brings a versatile skills set of People & Process Safety, and Major Projects, from 30 years of cross-cultural experiences with the Shell Group in many local and international assignments. He is also a Registered Lead Assessors for management systems – quality, environment and OSH. Accredited Tripod Incident Investigation Practitioner and a regular speaker and panellist in oil & gas, safety conferences.
Datuk Tai Hee, aged 55, is our Non Independent Non-Executive Chairman. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) Information Systems Design from Kingston University London, United Kingdom in 1987. He joined Pansar Computer Services Sdn Bhd (a company in Pan Sarawak Holdings Sdn Bhd (“Pan Sarawak”) group of companies) in 1987 as a Division Manager of the Computer Services Division.
He held various positions from a Division Manager to the Executive Director of the Computer Services Division before being promoted to Group Executive Director in Pan Sarawak group of companies in 1996. He was subsequently promoted to the position as its Group Managing Director in 2011. He has been the Managing Director of Pansar since 2010, which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities and he sits on the board of private companies as disclosed in Section 8.2.3 (a) of this Prospectus. He gained extensive experience via his exposure helming the Pan Sarawak’s diversified group of companies spanning wide ranging industries such as the building and construction industry, hospitality and travel, information technology, insurance agency, manufacturing of building materials, marine and industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, retail mall management, shipping and timber processing, environmental waste management and oil palm plantations.
Over the past decades, he has been active in trade delegations, missions and working visits to many countries representing Malaysia, Sarawak and Pan Sarawak group of companies in various industries. He is the Vice President of Malaysia Japan Economic Association and represents Malaysia as a board member in the East Asia Business Council. He is also a member of the Employers Panel of the Industrial Court and Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation Sarawak, Sarawak Tourism Board and Sarawak Taekwondo Federation.
He served as Chairman of Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (Saberkas) Sibu District and Vice President of State wide Saberkas. He is the Deputy Chairperson of Special Olympics Sarawak as well as its chair in Sibu.
For his contributions to Sarawak and Malaysia, he was decorated with Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS), Panglima Bintang Sarawak (PBS), Johan Bintang Kenyalang (JBK) by the Governor of Sarawak and in 2016, he was conferred the federal award of Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) which carries the title Datuk by the Yang Di Pertuan Agong.
On 31 May 2019, he joined us as our Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman. He is the corporate representative of our substantial shareholder, Pansar.
Ho Khee Jeem, aged 51, is our Financial Controller. In 1991, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He is a member of Certified Practising Accountant of the Australian Society and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1997.
He began his career as an Officer with Mayban Finance Bhd in 1991 and his last position when he left in 1997 was as a Branch Manager. He joined Well-Town Construction Development Sdn Bhd as a Finance Manager in 1997 until 2005, where his job functions included the overall supervision of the Finance and Human Resources Departments.
In 2005, he joined KACC Construction Sdn Bhd as the head of the company’s Finance Department where he was responsible for the company’s restructuring exercise and monitoring the company’s litigation cases. He left the company in 2008 but continued to serve as a consultant up to 2009 in charge of monitoring the company’s ongoing litigation cases and the restructuring of two (2) subsidiaries.
He joined OBYU Corporate Services Sdn Bhd in 2009 to head the company’s Accounts and Finance Department. In 2010, he was assigned additional responsibilities to oversee the Account and Finance Departments of O&G companies under the company, which included RLSB. He subsequently joined RLSB as our Financial Controller in 2010. He is responsible for our Accounts and Finance Department, Human Resources Department and Corporate Affairs Department.
Mad Haimi Bin Abu Hassan, aged 41, is our Operations Director. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2000. He started his career with Dimension Bid (M) Sdn Bhd in 2000 as a Field Engineer specialising in well intervention and perforation service solutions, and was with the company until 2002. Subsequently, he joined Halliburton Energy Services (M) Sdn Bhd from 2002 to 2008 as an Associate Technical Professional and his last position when he left the company in 2008 was as a Service Leader. He was responsible for providing technical and operational support, and planning and executing perforation services for customers operating offshore of Peninsular Malaysia.
In 2008, he joined RLSB as our Operations Director. He is responsible for planning and executing perforation services and related equipment, and providing well intervention and wireline services to customers. He is also in charge of implementing and executing our health, safety and environment policy.
Thien Chiet Chai, aged 52, is our Executive Director. In 2006, he obtained his Diploma in Business and Management from SEGi College, Malaysia and Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia in 2008. He started his career with Halliburton Energy Services (M) Sdn Bhd in 1989 as a trainee for cementing services. When he left the company in 2007, he was their Country Manager South East Asia, responsible for testing tools and services, perforation services, maintaining customer contact and developing and implementing local products and services. In 2007, he ventured into his own business by setting up Reservoir Link Resources Sdn Bhd which is involved in the trading of industrial products and contractor work. With his exposure and experience in the upstream of the O&G industry, he ceased the operations of Reservoir Link Resources Sdn Bhd in 2008 and joined RLSB as our Executive Director. He is instrumental in developing our Group’s business. He is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies and establishing our Group’s vision, mission and value. He is in charge of maintaining our relationships with our customers and principals.
Dato’ Wan Hassan Bin Mohd Jamil, aged 44, is our Chief Executive Officer. In 1997, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia. In the same year, he began his career in the O&G industry in Geoservices Eastern as a Welltest Engineer. He left to join Dimension Bid Sdn Bhd in 1998 as a Field Service Engineer that kicked-off the Data Acquisition Services Department where he rose the position of Data Acquisition Services Manager. His experience during his tenure with Dimension Bid included bottomhole pressure survey, pressure transient analysis, production logging, multifinger caliper logging and slickline services. He left Dimension Bid in 2003 to join Geowell Sdn Bhd as a Technical Manager, leading the company’s technical division in providing slickline and data acquisition technical services where his last position was as a Operations Director.
In 2010, he joined RLSB as the Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for leading and managing our Group in accordance with the strategic direction and vision developed by our Board. He is also an Adjunct Professor in University of Malaysia Pahang in Mechanical Petroleum from February 2019 till January 2020.
